In May 2008 Luigi Bray opened Bournemouth’s only artisan style Ice-cream or Gelato as it’s called in Italy, making homemade Gelato on the premises, each and every day. Luigi who is from Alezio a small town in Puglia, like many Italians is passionate about Gelato and after visiting Bournemouth thought it would be the ideal place to open an authentic Gelateria. We serve over 22 different and varying flavours every day which are made in the traditional style on the premises ranging from classics such as Chocolate, Strawberry, Lemon, Pineapple and Coconut, through to more unusual flavours like Banoffee Pie, Cheesecake, Trifle, Salted Caramel and one of the most popular ‘Giggi’ – an in-house creation.
